We are a public company operating in the human resources industry. We were founded in 2011 and are headquartered in Stavanger, Norway.

With Employ we are fully employed, and we retain freedom. We previously worked as self-employed professionals with sole proprietorships or own AS, and we have obtained better terms by working together in Employ, without losing our freedom. In short, Employ is a company created by and for self-employed professionals who want greater security—and just as much freedom. Employ offers us to be fully employed, with all the positive aspects that entails. We no longer need to worry about administrative and financial tasks; Employ handles those responsibilities. This enables us to use our working day exactly as we wish, with full focus on our profession and passion. As employees, we pay a modest sum to be part of the community and to use Employ's services. And if you wonder: Employ is not after earning the most money at our expense. Employ is owned by employees, and it is stated that a maximum of 2% shall remain in the company, the rest shall go back to us.
