Academicum is a public company operating in the staffing and recruiting industry. We were founded in 2006 and are headquartered in Uppsala, Sweden.

We are a spin-off from Uppsala University. We aim to function as a bridge between university and working life, serving academics at different stages of their careers. A central objective is to maintain and develop contacts with academics who have followed Academicums programs, to support them in their careers with services such as securing the first important job, assisting them to find new roles during their careers, offering advice ahead of career changes, and supporting academics with advanced qualifications. We provide education, coaching, mentoring, competence matching and qualified consultancy services. Central to our work are contacts with employers in the private and public sectors.
