Actionlab, we are a public company operating in the human resources industry. We were founded in 2010 and are headquartered in Budapest, Hungary.

Everything started with poker and pálinka (Hungarian moonshine). We have been friends for a long time, and poker brought us closer together. We have worked through luck and decision-making challenges, and we have developed our own language to make quick decisions and use the results. Actionlab began, and over the past decade expanded into many other areas. What’s common is passion and a willingness to step outside the comfort zone. We operate on three continents and develop people with our programs in more than twenty countries.

Many people think they need to be a good decision maker, a leader, an artist, or a salesman. We see it differently: by being passionate we can learn. In addition to emotionally stimulating themes, gamification is an integral part of our methodology. We use poker to make better decisions, simulate a home purchase gone bad, and simulate a more realistic negotiation. We also use actors to develop our deception detector, we engage with shopping malls, and we talk to strangers about charisma mastery.
