About AFJ Advocacy Group : Affirmative Forum for Job-seekers
Affirmative Forum for Job-seekers – (AFJ), is a Southern African (SADC) based group of initiatives under one umbrella – a nongovernmental consortium of organs that stands exclusively for the protection of job-seekers’ rights and interests here in Zimbabwe and abroad. The AFJ Group is undertaking long term advocacy programs across the country, with focus on standing against the normalised exploitation, discrimination, corruption, and all forms of malpractice prevalent within the local employment sector, particularly on recruitment. Collectively, these malpractices not only badly tarnish or erode a nation’s image and its corporate brand, but they also infringe on the very fundamental constitutional rights and freedoms of the people – about 3 million Zimbabwean Job seekers nation-wide, who happen to be mostly the (vulnerable) youth, women, and the disabled.
