Associazione Millecolori APS ETS we are a nonprofit organization operating in the Temporary Help Services industry. We were founded in 2005 and are headquartered in Palermo, Italy.

We operate in the Palermo area and province through projects aimed at preventing and countering factors of social distress and activating social inclusion interventions for minors, adolescents and families. Our main objective is to promote the autonomy and dignity of people. The association today manages Centro Antiviolenza Lia Pipitone, a protected space in which Italian and foreign women, with or without children, who seek help because they suffer or have suffered any form of gender-based violence are welcomed. The association also manages Casa Lia, a dedicated shelter with a secret address that has the objective of protecting women, with or without children who have suffered violence and who request safety. The shelter provides safe housing, meals, socio-health assistance, psychological support, social support, accompaniment in the legal process, and an individualized plan to exit violence aimed at autonomy.

We deliver services through the operation of these centers and the supports described, including safe housing, meals, socio-health assistance, psychological and social support, accompaniment in the legal process, and individualized plans to exit violence and achieve autonomy. We also promote actions to safeguard social safety and prevent youth distress, and we advise on pathways of orientation within the service system. We facilitate moments of reflection and discussion, individually and collectively, on people’s experiences through negotiation and mediation.
