Canada's Top 100 Employers — we are a privately held organization operating in the human resources industry. We were founded in 1999 and are headquartered in Toronto, Canada.

We run a national editorial project that recognizes the companies and organizations that lead their industries in creating progressive workplaces and forward-thinking HR policies. We announce winners each year in The Globe and Mail, Eluta.ca, and in more than a dozen large newspapers and magazines reaching millions of Canadians.

Employers complete a single application to be considered for our national project and 19 regional and special-interest competitions. A distinguishing feature is that our editors write detailed Reasons for Selection for each competition, explaining why the winners were chosen. This provides transparency in the selection of winners and raises the bar for other employers aiming to emulate the best practices our editors uncover.
