We are CARENEA AG, a public company operating in the staffing and recruiting industry. We were founded in 2019 and are headquartered in Zürich, Switzerland.

We focus on the search and placement of healthcare professionals in Switzerland, offering integrated Recruiting Process Partnership (RPP) solutions for the healthcare sector by attracting qualified talent from abroad, providing targeted training, preparing them for their new job, and placing them in Switzerland. We help healthcare institutions such as hospitals and clinics establish an employer brand and develop a recruitment strategy to find and hire the right talent.

With local recruitment centers in Eastern Europe, we recruit well-qualified and accredited professionals for our Swiss clients and prepare them for work in Switzerland. All our candidates participate in the Carenea Academy, accredited by Swiss partners, which includes language and cultural training, diploma recognition by SRC, a German language exam (Zertifikat B2), relocation support, and access to the Carenea community in Switzerland. The Carenea community helps medical staff moving to Switzerland to better acclimate to their new workplace and country. We strive to build long-term partnerships with hospitals and other healthcare facilities to ensure a continuous “just-in-time” staff supply, and our aim is not to solve staff shortages in the short term but to prevent them from occurring. We are a joint project of various experts from the healthcare, business, and recruitment sectors to address the shortage of skilled workers in the healthcare sector.
