We are Internasjonale Horten, a government agency operating in the staffing and recruiting industry. We are headquartered in Horten, Norway.

Our purpose is to create a collaborative arena between Horten municipality, Horten Næringsforum, NAV, the business community, voluntary organizations, and the University of Southeast Norway. We will elevate diversity in the workforce. Multicultural residents bring hidden competencies that can meet the need for competent labor. Many companies in Horten have long and good experience with diverse work, and we want the number to increase.

To reach all interested parties, we run three fixed activities: JOBBMATCH, MENTOR, and ROLLEMODELLBYRÅET. JOBBMATCH takes place on the last Wednesday of every month at the library in Horten. We provide an informal meeting place for employers and jobseekers. If you have an immigrant background and are curious about what Horten can offer in terms of career opportunities, contact us to join a meeting and connect with relevant companies. MENTOR takes place on the first Wednesday of the month at the library in Horten. It is a professional arena for employers. Here we lift up success stories and talk openly about experiences that can be useful for others. Together we try to answer the eternal question "How can Horten municipality become better at diversity?" ROLLEMODELLBYRÅET features workers with backgrounds outside the Nordic region who share their stories. They support jobseekers who are entering the workforce and can also be booked by employers to tell what worked for hearing about what it is really like to work in a new country, new culture, and new people around.
