KaribeLab is a partnership operating in the staffing and recruiting industry. We were founded in 2018 and are headquartered in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
We provide coding education for marginalized young women in Latin America and we work with employers to help them acquire the talent they need for software development. We also reduce youth unemployment rates in emerging markets while fueling the growth of the software industry, which is experiencing a vast shortage of software developers.
We operate through Income Share Agreements, with no upfront costs for students. This funding model is proven by General Assembly in the United States and has removed barriers to higher education for low-income students.
