Opportunity Place - Nova Scotia Works is a nonprofit organization operating in the staffing and recruiting industry. We were founded in 2001 and are headquartered in Halifax, Canada. We are funded through the Canada-Nova Scotia Labour Market Development Agreement under the direction of Employment Nova Scotia.

We help Nova Scotia employers to find and keep the talent they need and job seekers to develop the skills they need to get and keep opportunities, alongside providing job seekers with the advice they need to secure the opportunities they deserve.

We provide employer services that include Labour Market Information, Job Descriptions and Marketing Materials, Job Posting, Job Matching, and Recruitment Services, Financial Incentives and Connections, and Human Resource Management and Resources. We also provide physical and virtual space to interview candidates and host employer events to provide information on career paths and employment opportunities, including career and job fairs. All these services are provided at no charge.
