We are Sildikon Valley, a collaborative project between companies in the Haugalandet region that aims to challenge the top talents that Norwegian universities and colleges have to offer. We operate in the staffing and recruiting industry. We were founded in 2019 and are headquartered in Haugesund, Norway.

Our purpose is to provide summer opportunities that differ from traditional roles. Rather than filling a regular position, we hire participants to collaborate with other students to address a real challenge that a company faces. We also organize professional and social gatherings with summer employees from other companies.

We run the concept in partnership with Haugaland Vekst and the partners in Talentsamarbeidet. We deliver the program by inviting participants to work with other students to solve a challenge a company faces, and we organize professional and social gatherings with summer employees from other organizations.

Our activities are organized around a cross‑company, study‑aligned approach that emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and networking within the Haugesund region in Norway.

The Haugesund region in Norway is centrally located between Bergen and Stavanger and includes the municipalities of Haugesund, Karmøy, Tysvær, Sveio, Bokn, Vindafjord, Etne, Sauda, Suldal and Utsira. The region has a strong maritime technology sector and a developing international technology environment, and offers fjord and waterfall scenery, coastal and city culture, a Viking history, and idyllic island communities.

Overall, we are a collaborative project involving companies in the Haugalandet region, delivering a summer program where participants work with others to solve real business challenges and participate in professional and social gatherings, within the Haugesund region of Norway.
