SmartEmploy is a privately held staffing and recruiting company operating in the staffing and human resources industry. We were founded in 2019 and are headquartered in Hosle, Norway.

Our goal is to establish a portal that provides a simpler and better connection between apprenticeship providers and apprentices, based on alignment between each company's requirements and the apprentices' interests and prerequisites. Structured mapping and testing will help apprentices determine which apprenticeship providers are most relevant, while also helping providers find apprentices with the potential to succeed—even those with lower grades or higher absence.

Our approach is to develop and operate an apprenticeship portal that helps apprentices in all trades in Norway find an appropriate apprenticeship. Recruiting companies and the public sector to participate in the apprenticeship program is an important contribution to achieving this goal. By increasing knowledge of the program, providing help to become approved as an apprenticeship company, and offering a solid matching system in a single portal, we aim to increase the number of active apprenticeship companies. By using psychometric testing, the apprentice, instead of being judged largely on grades and absence rates, can present a holistic picture of themselves that the company will find interesting.

We operate across Norway, serving apprentices in all trades nationwide.

Ultimately, we are focused on building a portal that connects apprentices and apprenticeship providers across Norway, supported by psychometric testing to present a holistic profile to potential employers, all within a single platform that combines program knowledge, assistance to become an approved apprenticeship company, and a robust matching system.
