We are The Experience Factory, a privately held staffing and recruitment company operating in the staffing and human resources industry. We were founded in 2014 and are headquartered in Ferndale, South Africa.

We are a social enterprise focused on the hybrid combination of talent recruitment and skill development, with a continuous emphasis on soft skills to combat unemployment in South Africa.

We deliver through integrated services, including applied learning workshops, a shared peer learning platform, and one-on-one mentorship.

We specialise in Unlocking Hidden Talents, Corporate Literacy, Talent Management, skills developmrnt, recruiting, and jobseekers.

We operate in South Africa and Colombia, with activities in Ferndale and Johannesburg in South Africa and Bogotá in Colombia.

Our vision grew from the recognition that our education system alone is not able to adequately bridge the gap between what graduates derive from their qualifications and what the working and business spheres require. This gap is further pronounced in those that come from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
