We are Havermi - חברמי, a nonprofit organization operating in the human resources industry. We were founded in 2020 and are headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel.

We were founded to be the “friends from the industry” for people who are not part of the club, believing that the right advice at the start can make a life-changing difference. The tech industry is built on a “friends bring friends” dynamic, a network of people whose friends work at competing companies. They talk, compare, and learn—helping others understand how to navigate the field. Not everyone has access to this, and many enter without knowledge or someone to ask.

Everything began with a small post during the COVID period offering help to someone seeking a programming job. A rapid flow of responses followed, with hundreds of inquiries in a few days. Among them, a remarkable thing occurred—messages from people who wanted to join to help. Experienced programmers, who had already achieved success, offered their time to help others, without any compensation, out of a desire to give back. We maintain an intense commitment to impartiality and avoid external interests. Our first priority is to provide the answers that are right for the person in front of us, not for anyone else. We do not seek commissions, percentages, or other considerations; our focus is to help.

In closing, we are a group of volunteers with experience in tech, who help provide tools not taught in university—how to navigate the world of work, beyond the professional knowledge itself.
