CANADEM

CANADEM is our nonprofit organization operating in the staffing and recruiting industry. We were founded in 1997 and are headquartered in Ottawa, Canada.

We connect international agencies, governments, and other nonprofit organizations with qualified professionals through our roster of international civilian experts. We maintain official partnerships with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs through its Procap Program, and with UNICEF for emergency surge deployments. We are listed as an International Partner in peace building by the United States State Department's Office for Reconstruction and Stabilization.

We deliver services by operating a roster of international civilian experts, enabling international agencies, governments, and other nonprofit organizations to rapidly connect with qualified professionals. We maintain a proactive approach to responding to needs and use screening to uphold a qualified roster.

We specialize in recruiting, staffing, international development, human rights, reconstruction, policing, governance, water and sanitation, rule of law, human resources, demining, education, humanitarian operations, and refugees.

We operate in Canada and the United States.

According to a United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations study, the roster mechanism shows uptake by DPKO and attributes this to its roster population, proactive response to DPKO needs, and its competitive and rapid screening techniques.
