We are She Matters, a privately held recruitment company operating in the staffing and human resources industry. We were founded in 2017 and are headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

We aren’t just a recruitment agency; we are a commitment to building more human, inclusive, and high-performing workplaces. We help businesses grow by centering people—because when people thrive, performance follows. Our work began with a clear need: women with a refugee background navigating systems not built for them. Over time, our focus has grown to support all women facing inequality in the labour market—cis and trans women alike, including single mothers, newcomers, jobseekers, and women ready to rise. We connect this talent with companies ready to lead with purpose. Whether it's inclusive hiring, DEI training, or leadership development, we support teams in building cultures where everyone can contribute and grow. Our work is grounded in one belief: when women thrive, workplaces—and the economy—become stronger. That belief lives through two branches of our work: one focuses on partnering with companies to build diverse leadership pipelines and inclusive teams—offering recruitment, DEI consulting, and leadership development; the other provides mentorship, career development, and community support to women with a refugee background.
