The Specialist Group

We are The Specialist Group, a privately held staffing and recruiting organization operating in the staffing and human resources industry. We were founded in 2001 and our headquarters are in Moerdijk, Netherlands.

We put plans for progress into practice by getting you the right people for the job. We are the tailor-made toolbox for staffing specialised technical projects of all sorts and sizes, whether project-based or via secondment. With a broad base of highly skilled technical specialists, we help industries move forward towards a sustainable future. We operate via seven labels (STAR Specialists, Sensor, Litecad, ECC Solutions, Altio and NLIST) and provide regional coverage across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Sweden and Austria.

We serve more than 675 clients across technical end-markets such as power, chemicals, infrastructure, renewable energy and life sciences, with a focus on enabling the energy transition. We focus on both experienced professionals and young professionals.

Our geographic scope includes international operations across Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden.
