Aflos & Crew Management bv is a partnership operating in the staffing and recruiting industry. We were founded in 2006 and are headquartered in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands.

We have been active in Europe since 2006 as a mediation and detachment agency for inland shipping. We specialize in the secondment of independent captains with a focus on tankers. We stand for quality, speed and transparency, and this has helped us build a broad network of clients and crew who can reach us around the clock. Because of the short lines in our organization, we can act flexibly and accurately, and we are an important link between the growing group of independent captains and various clients. In 2012 we expanded with crew management of Polish deck personnel. We handle everything from recruitment to payroll, all in accordance with Dutch (EU / Mannheim) regulations and in accordance with the bilateral tax treaty between the Netherlands and Poland.

To enable further growth in Europe, we opened our Cyprus office in 2019. From there we also offer services to clients in Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Our specialties include inland shipping, crew management, secondment, payrolling, recruitment and selection, crewing, tankers, and captains.

We invite professionals to join us. We are seeking captains and skippers who want to start as self-employed contractors, and sailors and helmsmen who seek on-call work with a permanent contract.
