We are Menn i Helse, a government agency operating in the staffing and recruiting industry. We were founded in 2010 and are headquartered in Norway.

We operate a condensed educational pathway to a trade certificate as a health care worker. Participants receive the title 'health recruit'. This program targets job-seeking men aged 25–55 who are registered with NAV. Participants alternate between receiving benefits from NAV and wages from the municipality. Norway has a substantial need for educated health personnel and job opportunities are strong. So far, more than 400 men have earned the trade certificate through Menn i helse, and 92% of those who earned the certificate have obtained a relevant job within the health sector. Menn i helse is a collaboration between the municipality, NAV, the county municipality, KS and the Directorate of Health. It has been regarded by the Government as one of the most successful investments in recruiting men to the health sector.

We deliver services through a condensed educational pathway that blends learning with work, and we support participants as they move between NAV benefits and wages from the municipality.
