Society for Human Resource Management, Student Chapter 5333 is an educational organization operating in the human resources industry. We were founded in 1985 and are headquartered in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.

We are the student chapter affiliated with SHRM at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. We were founded in 1985 as the first student chapter in Puerto Rico. Our purpose is to involve our student-members in becoming more active, informed and further involved in today's fast-paced, demanding environment in human resources management.

We undertake these tasks through plant tours, workshops, conferences, mentorship programs, and more. We dedicate ourselves to helping our members develop the skills and expertise necessary to be a successful professional. In doing so, we desire to be viewed as an ally in achieving and ensuring our members' futures as human resources professionals.
