Trainee Salten. We are a partnership operating in the staffing and recruiting industry. We were founded in 2006 and are headquartered in Bodø, Norway.

We recruit recent graduates and match them with companies seeking young talent. Our trainee program offers two exciting years filled with challenging and educational project assignments. As trainees, we undertake diverse tasks early in our professional careers, with a steep learning curve and substantial responsibility. After completing the program, we are in demand in the job market and gain a broad professional and social network. If we love mountain hikes, nature, and city life, Bodø and Salten may be for us. Trainee Salten has approximately 40 member companies across several industries, including power and energy, aquaculture, analytical laboratories, waste and recycling, construction, technology/IT, research, and consulting. The competencies sought by member companies vary year to year.

Through our approach, we connect trainees with member companies and deliver a structured two-year program built around challenging, educational project work. We emphasize early responsibility and hands-on experience. In addition to having higher education, we require candidates to speak/write/read Norwegian and/or another Scandinavian language and be under 35 years of age. We seek candidates who are hungry for knowledge, for building networks, and who want to make an impact in the companies they join.
