Youth Employment Accelerator Program

We link businesses and non profits to vetted and talented youth entry level ready to work! Fueled by partnerships with Government, Academia, Civil Society and Private Sector, the Youth Employment Accelerator Program (YEAP) was established to address the rapidly growing youth unemployment rate in Uganda by addressing barriers in the labor market. The program will provide solutions to help unemployed youths with little or no work experience find jobs. YEAP is committed to eliminating barriers to employment for Youth and making it inclusive especially for women, persons with disabilities and those from underserved communities. The program provides quality career guidance, advise, mentorship for young people starting their employment journey and to those returning or continuing their employment Journey. We partner with likeminded organizations in government, civil society, academia and private sector to provide mentorship, career guidance, mock interviews, CV reviews and support to young people regardless of their education background.
