We address the problems of human capital development in Kazakhstan, focusing on training of skilled workers for the oil and gas, machine engineering/manufacturing, construction and metall processing sectors. We apply on-the-job training and vocational apprenticeship systems which consist of up to 80% practical learning and 20% of theoretical knowledge. We train skilled workers to give them real competencies upon completion of training, comprising functional skills and knowledge to perform their duties. Thus, citizens of Kazakhstan who hold certificates as a welder, electrician, or instrumentation mechanic (whether unemployed, employed or non-practicing tradesman) can be converted into qualified skilled workers with hands-on skills and functional knowledge. In solving skills gaps we do not use a one-size-fits-all approach but an individual approach for each company. We are committed to contributing to social capital and cohesion by empowering each qualified/unqualified craftsman with hands-on skills and competence. Each solution we offer is meticulously planned, professionally implemented, and takes into account every detail of our customer’s wishes and expectations.
